My Story

James Arocho M.D. a member of East Coast Pathology of Florida is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe, Puerto Rico. Dr. Arocho completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at University Hospital, Stony Brook New York and fellowship training in Surgical Pathology at University Hospital, Birmingham Alabama.

 

James Arocho M.D. has practiced pathology in Volusia and Flagler Counties for over twenty-five years. He serves as Medical Director for AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a position he has held for more than 20 years. He is also a member of the Hospital Board at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, Medical Executive Committee, Credentials Committee, and the Performance Review Committee. He actively participates in subspecialty Tumor Board Conferences (including Thoracic, Breast, and General Cancer Conferences), reviewing cases, taking photomicrographs, discussing pertinent pathologic findings and suggesting appropriate ancillary tests for the management of patients.
