James E. Roberts, M.D.

James E. Roberts M.D. a member of East Coast Pathology of Florida is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa Fl.  Dr. Roberts completed  his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, and fellowship training in Surgical Pathology at Barnes Hospital / Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Roberts has practiced pathology in Volusia and Flagler Counties for over twenty-five years. He serves as Medical Director of Laboratories at AdventHealth Palm Coast, Oceanside and New Smyrna Health Park.  He is Medical Director of Transfusion Services and Chairman of the Infection Control Committee at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.  Dr. Roberts is also a member of the AdventHealth Palm Coast Medical Executive Committee, Peer Review Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, and the Cancer Care Committee.  He actively participates in subspecialty Tumor Board Conferences (including Thoracic, Breast, and General Cancer Conferences), reviewing cases, taking photomicrographs, discussing pertinent pathologic findings and suggesting appropriate ancillary tests for the management of patients.
